About
Who We Are
The Chamber of Commerce for Women in Business (CCWB), established in 2020 and registered as an NPC in 2022, is the newest Women’s Chamber of Commerce in the city of Rustenburg and the first such organisation in the North West.
The inception for the establishment of The Chamber of Commerce for Women in Business came from a small group of women and entrepreneurs who came together to advocate & empower women of all colour in the North West province and beyond. This selfless act was seeded from the realisation that women all around are not being afforded opportunities that had been availed to them and through this organisation that gap will be filled.
One of the goals of our Chamber is to help disadvantaged women be integrated into the mainstream of business in order to improve their livelihoods.
Since its inception, the CCWB has been actively involved in acting as a voice of reason to be able to defend the rights of Women-Owned businesses, advocating policy reforms that foster inclusion in consideration of women entrepreneurs, and representing the voice of small and medium-sized enterprises.
We are a Proudly South African organization, founded on the true spirit of equality, stakeholder partnerships and the understanding of various economic industries and needs analysis of emerging and established women in business.
The Chamber of Commerce for Women In Business was established with the focus on wealth creation, enterprise development, transformation, gender inclusivity, youth and disabled groups.
